 Islamabad, the 7^th January 2013.-           A news item that appeared in a section of press quoting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan. Mr. Justice (R) Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim as saying that “a few elements are conspiring to delay polls” is incorrect and not based on facts. In this regard, it is clarified that the Hon’ble CEC has never given such a statement to any newspaper.
